In an era of intensifying debate about CO2 emissions, every automotive manufacturer is being asked the question, ‘What is
your answer to the issue of fuel consumption?’ Our answer has long been the same: maximum efficiency.

Porsche has been reducing the CO2 emissions of its vehicles by an average of around 1.7 %* every year for the past 15 years.
In relation to engine power, Porsche is already among those manufacturers achieving the lowest CO2 emissions. This has been
achieved through efficient drive concepts (e. g. DFI), lightweight construction, optimised aerodynamics and low rolling resistance.

This high level of environmental responsibility is demonstrated by our approach to environmental management at the Porsche
development centre in Weissach. Here, all technological developments are carried out with environmental protection in mind.
The objective is to achieve pure performance, but not at the expense of the environment.

* The stated reduction in fuel consumption has been calculated from the NEDC (New European Drive Cycle) fuel consumption figures
for the respective model years of the vehicles and in relation to the applicable European legislation.
